Streamline Inventory Management

The product list of your dreams!

Local Line has a user-friendly inventory management system that allows you to keep track of your products effortlessly. You can easily add, edit, or remove items from your inventory, ensuring that your customers always have access to up-to-date information and you're never selling what you don't have.

Multiple Package Support

One of the standout premium features of Local Line is our multi-package support, which we call "Advanced Inventory". Advanced Inventory allows you to create multiple packages within one product that all pull from one master inventory. For example, you might have 100 lb. of ground beef in stock but sell it in 1 lb. and 2 lb. packages.

This flexibility allows you to cater to different customer preferences and needs. Whether a customer wants to buy in bulk or purchase smaller quantities, you can allocate different packages to different price lists - ensuring everyone gets what they want.

The best part? Advanced Inventory is now included in our Core, Premium, and Ultimate plans! Click here to check out our pricing.

Set Re-Stock Reminders

Avoid running out of popular products during the peak season by setting re-stock reminders in Local Line. You'll receive notifications when it's time to replenish your inventory, ensuring you never miss a sales opportunity due to product shortages.

Sell by Unit and by Weight

With Local Line you can sell and track inventory by unit or weight.

Let's walk through an example: say you sell steaks on your Local Line store. You may want to track that inventory by unit, i.e., you have 30 steaks available. However, each steak varies slightly in weight, so you want to sell your steaks by weight to ensure you receive the correct price for that individual steak.

In Local Line, you can set an average price by weight for the steak and set the product as 'Needs Approval'. This means that once a customer orders, you will be asked to put in the final weight and approve the order. Once you do, you can charge the customers card on file, or send them a finalized invoice for payment.

Manage Your Store Hours

During peak season, staying on top of incoming orders is crucial. Local Line allows you to open and close your online store quickly according to your schedule - whether you have set hours or like to keep your store running 24/7.

If you have a finite sales window, your store is only open for a certain amount of time each week. For example:

  • The store is open for orders Monday through Thursday; orders are delivered on Saturday.
  • No orders can be placed on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.

If you have an infinite sales window, your store is open 24/7. For example:

  • You deliver every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Orders placed by 4 pm, two days before delivery, will be delivered on the next available delivery date. AKA: the order lead time is 48 hours.

You can even automate the opening and closing of your store!

Leverage Product Categories

Categorizing your products is essential for efficient inventory management. Local Line lets you create and customize product categories, making it easier for customers to find what they're looking for. This feature also helps you organize your inventory and track sales for specific product groups.

By utilizing Local Line's powerful tools, you'll not only streamline your inventory management but also enhance the overall customer experience. Take advantage of these features, stay organized, and make the most out of your farm. Your farm's success is just a few clicks away!
