At Local Line, we want to support farmers and increase access to local food. That’s why today we are launching: Local Line Hub 2.0. Earlier this year, we gave you Local Line 2.0, the Local Line platform you know and love, but better.
Hub 2.0 is the next evolution of local food distribution, which starts with the ability to collaboratively connect with farms around you and sell their products.
With this new update, you can expect all the awesome upgrades from 2.0, like tons of new features and workflows to save you time and increase your hub’s efficiency.
Local Line Hub 2.0 will help you improve your day-to-day workflows so that you can run your food hub more efficiently and profitably. We present: your dream back office – everything you need to organize your products, customers, orders, deliveries, payments, AND vendors in one succinct place.
Improvements include:
Manage your vendors and their products seamlessly. With Hub 2.0, you can add and manage vendor products, packages and inventory in the easy-to-navigate vendor table. Customize their storefront profile, and add back office vendor tags and notes to stay organized. You can also easily disable a vendor if needed with a single click. Finally, with Hub 2.0, you get enhanced vendor exports and reporting!
Sell other local products around you using your Local Line store. Now, every Local Line user, farm or hub can tap into Local Line’s local food network to sell products near them.
Marketing is hard work! Connections allows farms in the same region to share the workload and collaboratively sell local food using one storefront. Now, farms that use Local Line can expand their product offering and list their products in new channels.
Farms, producers, and hubs can add other vendors from the Connections tab located in the main sidebar navigation. Invite existing Local Line users to share their price lists or invite new users to upload their products into your store.
With each Local Line subscription (except Starter), you get free vendors! You can also add extra vendors for only $5/month per vendor.
Connections for managed vendors are now available. The ability to invite existing Local Line users to connect will be launching soon, so stay tuned with Local Line to find out when you can try it yourself. This launch is a catalyst for local food networks, and we can't be more excited to share this with you.
