Making your workflows more efficient ensures you save time for other essential aspects of your business, such as growing and selling. We recently added a few more bulk actions in Local Line to save you time from manually clicking into each product, customer, and order.
If you leverage the Needs Approval workflow as a safety check to ensure you have the proper inventory for your orders, manually going into each order and approving it can quickly get time-consuming. With this improvement, you can select all the orders you want to approve and click Approve.
The Needs Approval setting is at the product level. You can select to turn this on or off for a product when creating a new product. If your processes change and you want to enable or disable this setting on multiple products at once, you now can with this new bulk action. Select all the relevant products, and hit Edit needs approval. Here you can either enable or disable the setting.
We know manually paying your vendors week after week can be time-consuming and, frankly, annoying. There are so many different exports and spreadsheets to keep track of, as well as banking information, totals, payment terms–the list goes on. That’s why we created vendor payouts—the ability to pay all your vendors directly from Local Line with the click of a button!
In your new Vendor Payouts table, all the vendors, orders, payment status’, transaction status’, and amounts due will be visible. To pay a vendor, select the vendor and press ‘Payout.’ You can bulk-pay vendors by selecting multiple orders at one time.

With our new email update, you can use your Local Line account as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool. You can now send unlimited emails directly from your Customers table. Select which customers you’d like to email, draft, and send.
Pro tip: Leverage customer tags to organize your customer base; making sending targeted emails so much smoother! For example, tag all Friday pick up and Saturday pick up customers with different tags. Have an urgent message for your Friday pick up customers? Search by the tag, select all and send an email directly from Local Line.
